CLASSICAL PIANO


Having studied piano under the expert tutelage of Robert Parker Jeffrey, Nicholas Ashton and David Murray (as well as receiving expert training in other performing arts fields including theatre, dance and performance art) Marianne aspires to bring the wealth of knowledge and skills she has acquired from her own training into her teaching, work and practice.

She has performed in a wide range of venues and contexts (as well as genres) as a soloist, part of bands/ensembles & shows across the North East of England and Scotland with past performances taking place in Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Durham Lumiere Festival, Edinburgh Competition Festival, Great Exhibition of the North, Greyfriars Kirk Concert Series among many others and over the last few years has also accompanied student recitals, exams and performances during her time at University.
